Wish: Initially, to be able to eat as much cake as she wants without having health problems or gaining weight. Ultimately, for Kanade to achieve her wish of becoming a world-class pastry chef.

Overview: The demon lord of Ente Isla was defeated by the great hero Emilia. Rather than accept his doom, Satan opened a portal and fled, declaring his intent to return and continue his conquest when he had regained his strength.
The portal took him to 21st century Earth. Earth's weakened levels of magic meant that he could not immediately return, and so Satan, king of demons, used the last of his power to take on a human identity of Maou Sadao, part time worker at "MgRonalds".
He found, much to his surprise, that he actually rather liked being human.
Wish: Maou is thinking big. He wants to be REGIONAL MANAGER for MgRonalds in Tokyo. With this as a power base, his rise to supreme overlord of Earth shall be just a matter of time!
Powers: Maou has incredible power and can do almost anything he can imagine, but on a world without the incredible background magic that Ente Isla had, anything but the most trivial uses of his power will cause him to almost immediately run out of MP.

Overview: Over the Garden Wall is a series about two brothers who are lost in a fairytale woods, trying to get home, but becoming more and more lost. Greg is the younger of the two brothers. Greg is very young, with a cheerful and irrepressibly optimistic attitude. Not much phases Greg; he's perfectly comfortable facing down a monster or spending days lost in the woods or being carried off to the clouds by cherubs; in any situation he's likely to be easy-going, cheerful, and creative. Greg is very brave and good-hearted; he cares a lot about others' happiness and making the world a better place. When he has his heart set on something, he'll never give up and is pretty hard to make discouraged or sad.
Greg is a pretty goofy kid. He's prone to misunderstanding things, non-sequiturs, and making up jaunty little songs.
Wish: So! Greg is pretty easy to motivate. He won't have any issue playing, he will want to play, even if the wish he gets is pretty small.
My plan for Greg is to start him out with silly wishes. Turning into a magic tiger, giving his frog fingernails, etc. are all the kind of silly things he would wish for. He will change his wish constantly, just like he changes his frog name. He'll play his hardest.
As the game goes on, if he stays in, he'll likely be influenced by the fact that other people have serious wishes they care about a lot. Greg is a pretty sweet and selfless person. He'll likely ultimately be influenced, once he understands how much people care about their wishes, to try to win to grant someone else's wish. To combat this a bit so there won't be any chance of him throwing the game, I'm taking him at a canon point where he's only starting to realize how scared and depressed Wirt is that they're still lost. Once he realizes this, he'll be able to change his wish to getting himself and Wirt home.
Anyway this is all to say I'd actually just like to see how his wish develops, but I have plans in place to prevent there being a risk of breaking the game. Greg will play to win.
Powers: No powers, but he will be bringing his frog, Name TBD. His frog happens to have swallowed a magic bell that can command ghosts/demons/spirits. Greg is too goofy to use it in any kind of strategic way.

Overview: Easily scared and nervous, Wirt is your normal, pessimistic teenager just trying to survive in the world. He's very awkward and a bit of a pushover, he stutters when he speaks and recites poetry to himself occasionally. Wirt tries to stay optimistic in unfamiliar situations, such as wandering into a strange world with his younger step-brother, Greg. He and Greg meet new faces and run into odd situations as they attempt to leave The Unknown and return home, and throughout the series Wirt learns to appreciate Greg better and take more responsibility as the older brother.
Wish: Well, all and all, Wirt would wish for him and Greg to safely return home. As I'm taking him from before the series ends, he'd have the motivation to want to leave and just be over with every strange world he winds up in.

Overview: Hisoka is fickle and self-serving. He only cares about himself and what pleases him. He'll lie for not particular reason about nothing particularly important just because he can, and he'll cooperate with others if it seems like it'll be entertaining for a little while. Just as quickly, he can turn on others once he gets bored or he's gotten what he wants. He also gets off on fighting/power and is pretty blatant about it, so there's that...
Wish: Coming here to stalk the participants is all he needs so he'll probably just wish for something dumb like a bottle of hair gel.
Powers: He's generally very good in hand-to-hand combat as well as being agile and lithe, and he seems keen on being able to pick up and use any weapon that's drawn on him if he can get his hands on it.
He also has Bungee Gum, which turns his aura into a very sticky and stretchy substance that can stretch or contract at his will, and be attached to targets by touch or by simply pointing at them. It can also be molded into a sheet for him to use as a shield.
He can use his aura to make cards as sharp as steel and will throw them or threaten tk cut people with them..

Smart and generally savvy, Kanade somehow still manages to to have notably dumb moments too, but will always do the right thing, and no matter how much she might complain, will stick with Hibiki through thick and thin, no matter what. Edit: Oh, and temper. Did I mention that? Girl has one.
Wish: For Hibiki to achieve her dream of preforming on the world's stage with her parents as a pianist.
Powers: Transforms into the magical girl Cure Rhythm as long as Hibiki's nearby to help initiate it. Can trounce giant monsters and blast/purify evil with the power of music and harmony. Is that even remotely useful here? I dunno.

Axel is dishonest, selfish, manipulative, secretive and yet still somehow manages to pass as a Pretty Cool Dude somehow. He's laidback and rarely lets anyone in too close, even the people he considers friends, even though he'd do anything for them. He's more vested in his own self-interests than anything else, but he's charismatic and affable enough for most people to not realize just how deep the jerk goes.

Overview: A shitty fake priest who makes a little extra moolah on the side as your run-of-the-mill child assassin, Nicholas D. Wolfwood plays every side there is to play while still somehow managing to lose terribly at every feasible turn. Alcoholism, religious themes, and trash-tier behaviour are all necessary and present. He takes on the task of guiding a certain absolute pacifist outlaw gunman to his psycho brother, as ordered by his psycho brother, and it works about as well as you'd expect. Also, he's only 17! Moral of the story: don't join religious cults.
Wish: Depowering Knives so he can shoot the mf'er for real this time OR just the chance to shoot him for real this time, period...
