[Same as last night, the doors for the spies open after lights out, and the path of torches leads to the same place where the trial took place.]

Welcome back, secret spy network! Second night, same as the first - you can now choose as a group to eject another player from the game! Who'll it be, folks?

Meryl-san. Ema-san. Shiki-san.

One of them is the detective. After last round, I'd put my bets on it being Ema-san, but if we do get rid of her now it'll cast a lot of suspicion on Hibiki-san.

[synchrownization]

[Hans nods.]

If she really is the detective, I think we can afford to keep her here for a little longer. Just long enough for people to stop suspecting Hibiki.

[carptricks]

[he nods]

. . . but we need to be careful. If she is the detective, and we leave her in the game too long, she might be able to root us out pretty quickly.

[synchrownization]

That goes without saying. I just hope the suspicion toward Hibiki blows over by tomorrow. Unfortunately, the ballots had to be shown for everyone to see.

[carptricks]

[quirks a small smile]

I had a feeling that might happen.

If we don't vote for Ema-san, then we need to choose either Shiki-san or Meryl-san.

Okay, but who do you think is more suspicious between them?

[THIS GAME IS WEIRD.]

That I don't know. They're pretty even on the suspicion levels to me.

[synchrownization]

If all else fails, there's always the coin.

[A laugh.]

The coin's treated us pretty well in the past.

I'd be willing to just go ahead and vote for Ema anyway, but... she also suspected Kanade, and that wouldn't be fair to her.

[synchrownization]

Wow, Ema's on a roll.

[carptricks]

[tilts his head towards her]

But she voted for you. If I were a normal villager, I'd think you the most suspicious, not Kanade-san.

I agree with him - the suspicion would fall on you. Even if Ema-dono is not a detective, she and Robin-dono are both determined to find out who are spies... For that reason we should avoid voting for Hisoka-shi as well, as our companion had initially tried to get him voted off.

I think our choice should be between Shiki-san and Meryl-san. Just in case Ema-san isn't the detective, y'know?

[ the short girl's name again. either it's divine coincidence or the woman hasn't got a clue how to keep her nose out of things, and the way she's always poking around, Gunsmoke and here, Wolfwood wouldn't be surprised if it's the latter.

[MEANWHILE, Kaito is just playing to win. As he often does. But hey, he has no contacts here he wishes to protect]

The standoffish girl from Mifune City. Her bio just says "whatever."

Have either of 'em actually done anything?

They haven't. So knocking out one of those two shouldn't cast suspicion on anyone here.

It'd probably just look like a random hit.

Then we're leaving the insurance girl outta this.

[ look at this, midget girl, he's defending you.

maybe it'd be easier if he doesn't have to worry about her stickin' her nose where it doesn't belong. maybe she'll end up undermining the whole effort. but between her and needlenoggin, all Wolfwood's trust is placed right there. no one else here deserves it. ]

Aw no! Why do we gots to pick Ema? I keep saying the roles are random! It don't mean anything if she's just a detective off the island!

We don't have to pick her now, but we might have to down the line. It doesn't matter whether she's a detective off of the island or not-- she might be one in the game, and that's bad news for us.
